UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
2008 Fall Series: Sarasota Here We Come!
Riot took the 2 seed at NW Regionals, after an exciting tournament including crazy wind, rain, and several close games. Now, it's time for some last hard training in this gray and rainy city, as we count down the days until we step back on our favorite Polo fields in sunny Florida!
Road to the Fall Series:
After being inspired by the exciting competition at the 2008 World Games in Vancouver, Riot has been practicing hard and improving with each tournament. In August, Riot won the Emerald City Classic against strong West Coast and Vancouver teams. At Labor Day in Santa Cruz, Riot faced intense competition from the nation's top teams, finishing 2nd to the reigning World champions, Fury.
Spring Season Wrap-up:
Riot 2008 is starting to shine. Riot began the spring with a loss to Fury in the semi-finals at Cal States in Santa Cruz, and then took 2nd place the very next weekend, losing to Fury in a hard-fought battle at Flowerbowl in Vancouver. Riot wrapped up the spring season with a fun tournament win at Solstice in Eugene, OR, playing as Riot of Oz.
